Ingredients
- fusilli pasta (dry) — 400g
- chicken breast, diced — 400g
- smoked streaky bacon, chopped — 150g
- double cream — 200ml
- ranch seasoning mix — 2 tbsp
- vegetable oil — 1 tbsp
- cheddar cheese, grated — 100g
Method
- 1
Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta according to pack instructions.
- 2
While the pasta cooks, heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and bacon, cooking until the chicken is golden and cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
- 3
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the double cream and ranch seasoning. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Drain the pasta, reserving a little cooking water. Add the pasta to the creamy sauce and toss to combine, adding a splash of pasta water if it looks too thick.
- 5
Stir in the grated cheese until melted and serve immediately.
